SJS / In 1977 the US National Academy of Sciences issued a first report warning of climate change. My friend George Brown, who was on the House Science Com't, was working long hrs to draft the first National Climate Act. The National Climate Program Act, Public Law 95-367 passed in 1978. It was a beginning on climate action and I started, w George, to push the politics and the message and have taken yrs of my life to push push push push - the 1970s thru now.

Here's another push, from the IPCC, released today. The scientists, global science community, continue to push the politics and to work the message. It's getting much more serious and I'm along for the ride. So are you, and so are we all, we're all in this together.
