Description:

In March 2008 Georgia Tech Dining Services and Students Organizing for Sustainability began meeting at a roundtable discussion with campus administration and services officials to discuss creating a more sustainable food system for Georgia Tech and Atlanta. We established a research and recommendations committee to collaborate with campus services and administration to

  • reduce food waste
  • purchase local and sustainable foods
  • and provide more healthy and equitable dining options to all Georgia Tech community members

This committee meets biweekly on Wednesdays at 3pm. If you would like to be involved please email the committee chair.
