Text for 2007:

The City of Janesville offers scholarships for children that will be in first through twelfth grade in Fall 2007. The purpose of the scholarship is to fund a portion of enrollment and field trip costs for Summer Camps. Scholarship consideration is primarily based upon need. Please refer to the Eligibility Requirements for additional information.

Individual scholarships will be awarded for a maximum of $150. Applications are due by April 27, however applications will be processed after this date on a first come basis.

Please refer to the Summer Recreation pull-out section of the March issue of the Park Place News for a variety of program options. Summer Camps offered by other agencies will also be considered.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Youth and their families must reside in the City of Janesville.
2. Our program is designed for children that will be in grades 1-12 in Fall 2007.
3. Students and their families must qualify as low/ moderate income based upon the chart below.
