Many educational concepts he taught, both on his TV shows, and in his books and I was lucky to learn. Bill Nye also was a great fan of Mr. Wizard and today he carries the tradition of Don Herbert forward. I also try to carry on the tradition of Don in reaching out to kids with science they can understand and appreciate.
Here I speak of one of my educational images that I have rolled out over the years, especially for kids, to illustrate how thin Earth's atmosphere is... it's a quick ride up, before we reach the limit of our atmosphere and enter "space"...
