ENVIRONMENTALIST Diego Mulligan, 1950-2013: Radio show host remembered for educating community on climate issues
Diego Mulligan, whose afternoon drive-time radio talk and interview show The Journey Home on KSFR was a local classic, has died, the station announced Saturday. Mulligan died Friday.
The cause of his death was not immediately known. But Mulligan, born in 1950, had suffered several serious health problems since a spinal cord injury in 2011.
In a statement, KSFR board Chairwoman Marilyn Mason said, “He will be remembered not only as the inspiring host of the Journey Home show, but as an avid environmentalist. His daily program provided the platform for educating a generation of Santa Feans about climate issues and the human condition.”
