Millenials - Millenial Generation - Gen Y

2000 has a ring to it!

The new millenium is here and with 2000 is a digital generation who've grown up with the Internet

A generation in the US and increasingly worldwide who've been born knowing the digital world from their earliest memories

Younger than Gen X, Gen Y are naturally digital citizens, Net savvy, social media experts who are connected locally and globally -- and using the latest apps -- mobile devices are one of the fastest growing points of the worldwide Net expanding to every spot on the globe

This year the numbers show more mobile phones on planet earth than humans on our planet

Our 360° world is connecting and moving forward with mobile energy and vision

Social apps are multiplying and time spent with apps and the mobile internet is growing in every country with startling speed, whether big cities or distant lands.

If we look at the population on Facebook, it is now larger than the largest country and mobile is in the billions of message per day... Google apps, and Yahoo, Twitter and Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Secret, Tumblr, LinkedIn, TapTalk, Pinterest, the app list goes on and on... in China there's WeChat, Sina Weibo, Tencent Weibo, PengYou, Youku/Tudou, Douban, RenRen, and the government can't keep up (or block the flow of information that is opening up eyes and signalling change in the wind.)

Countries like China with hundreds of millions of young digital users are moving in ways that are freely changing social/gov/biz via the Internet with myriad new channels of communication zipping billions of data bit hourly/daily/weekly

Formerly 'closed' societies are finding that 'firewalls' don't work -- a new open era of digital citizens and planet citizens is becoming reality day to day
