Good science, good decision-making based on science, needs good data. The NASA message 'you can manage only what you can measure' is our GreenPolicy360 message to as it has since our inception -- we believe and support good science. We look to baselines of data, metrics, intelligence compiled and made available over time, 'shifting baselines' as they are sometimes called. The changes, the dynamics of change as time passes, become a guide for us.

Whether in assessing the CO2 in the Earth's atmosphere, or responding to a virus outbreak, a disease that starts local and becomes a pandemic, the facts are critical in measuring to know what decisions can best be made...
