Description:

2 Million Trees is restoring forest habitat across Brisbane's urban environment and creating a legacy for future generations to enjoy.

By July 2008, the 2 Million Trees project had planted more than 250,000 new trees around Brisbane. By the end of 2008 another 12 bushland restoration sites will be planted, including 170,000 trees in Kholo by the end of October.

The 2 Million Trees project is bringing communities and businesses together to protect and improve ecological diversity and to make Brisbane the greenest city in Australia.

You can help re-forest Brisbane by donating to the Brisbane Environment Trust at the Signature Brisbane website.

Signature Brisbane is an initiative of the City of Brisbane Arts and Environment Trust and is a not-for-profit company. It is dedicated to creating an environmental legacy for the future of Brisbane.
