==Compilation of State, County, and Local Anti-Idling Regulations== '''Type:''' Various '''Status:''' Adopted '''Date:''' Various '''Summary:''' The following compilation of state and local vehicle idling laws represents the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s best efforts to catalogue, in one location, the variety of existing and proposed idling laws in their entirety. This document is for reference purposes only; please refer to the actual laws for requirements and compliance. This compilation may not include every state or local law, and you should enquire about your own jurisdiction’s regulations on idling. We will make every effort to update this document when we are aware of new idling laws or changes to existing idling laws.
