We are a green network as our dot.net domain name suggests. We are grassroots-powered and open to "greens of all colors" who are working in good faith to create a better world.

We are a meeting place, a network for discovering best green practices, that is, practical solutions.

We are a "clearinghouse", a "database", a go-to-resource where you can find, share, upload/download information for your community, empowering your personal efforts and making changes that will make a real difference.

We are built on a MediaWiki platform. We are a wiki, you are a wiki. We’re a community. And MediaWiki powers our online collaborative tools -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki_software.

Think of us (and you are ‘us’) as a community of greens who want to share best practices and who believe in "Change - change for the better."

We look out at our 360 world, like the famous Apollo first-ever view of our blue-green planet, and we look to change the way governments run, the way businesses run, the way the world works in order to bring sustainable change that will positively impact our lives and our environments.

Share your green work, your proposals, resolutions, ordinances, community projects, individual work. Add your green success stories. Share your projects as how-to guides. Help envision and create successful green campaigns. Take what works and model what's worked without ‘reinventing the wheel’. Take the best practices here and pass them along.

Search through the GreenPolicy Index and take the best in the field, examples of ideas and practices that have come to fruition and are guide lights, city-to-city, community-to-community, region-to-region. Make these green models available to all who want to join up and make a difference.

Keep on doing your best and keep on with your day-to-day efforts to create a better world. Never, ever give up.

We are all in our blue-green world together.
